Penn Squadron II Boat Rods (2 equal Sections)
The Penn Squadron II Boat Rods are powerful, slim and lightweight making them ideal for all boat anglers and covers a range of classes to suit your fishing needs. The carbon composite blank allows the rod to maintain a slim diameter whilst still providing long lasting durability and strength. Theses rods are designed to work well with both braided and mono lines as well as with spinning and conventional reels.
The 6-12lb class rod is the ideal rod for the angler who likes to species hunt and needs that extra sensitivity. Don't be fooled though, this rod has reserve power in the butt section for those times when you hook something bigger than expected.
The 12-20lb carbon-composite blank is ideal for drift fishing over sandbanks for rays, turbot and general ground fish, also for working lures over wrecks and reefs. It’s lightweight, but fast taper action achieves maximum bite detection with mono and braid lines.
The 20-30lb rod has power in the mid section and butt, designed to work big fish up from deep water. It will also be popular with anglers wreck fishing for cod, ling and conger.
The 30-50lb rod can target big wreck dwelling fish. It can also be used for sharks and even giant common skate. Built with a progressive but fast taper action, the rod has the capability to put maximum line pressure on big fish that need to be bullied away from wreckage and snags.
