Gardner Out-Reach Landing Net
The Gardner Out-Reach Landing Net has been designed with strength and rigidity in mind, ensuring that you can land your carp no matter its size and enabling you to target new personal best fish with complete confidence. Not simply for carp fishing, this net can be used for a variety of specimen coarse species, including hard fighting barbel and huge wels catfish. This allows you to be varied in your angling, whether you’re fishing on the continent or right here in the UK. The Gardner Out-Reach Landing Net comes with a two part handle. Both sections of the handle are in a stunning deep green colour and have been manufactured from top grade carbon fibre. The main section is 170cm long (or approximately 5ft 5 inches), which is ideal for most general fishing as it offers the perfect combination between reach and compactness. The handle extension is a further 50cm long (just over 1ft 6 inches), bringing the total handle length to 220cm (or 7ft 2 inches). This gives you a huge range of reach, which is essential when you’re targeting large fish in swims with high banks or snaggy obstacles. Having this extra reach is also very useful when you’re angling with a 13ft rod, as it allows you to keep your tip nice and high., or when you’re fishing with a long zig rig setup.
The net itself incorporates a combination of different meshes. This includes free-flow sides, which are essential for allowing good water flow through the net whilst the fish recovers before being placed on the unhooking mat and scales, and a hex-mesh base. This base has been designed in an extended pan shape, which is completely seamless along the belly to ensure you can practice proper fish care. The Gardner Out-Reach Landing Net features 42 inch carbon composite arms, which are strengthened with metal ferules and are fixed to the handle via a stainless steel spreader block.
