This is a new Marquis salmon reel in sizes one, two and three, built to the original design. We've made the new reels and spools interchangeable with all the originals because we know exactly what happens. Over the years, a frame gets dropped, buckled or broken. You still have the spools and the lines that you love but without a new reel frame, they're useless. Not now. You're back in business. The new reels are all manufactured from high-grade aluminium with the polished silver rim style that everyone agrees is the Marquis at its best. This isn't quite the original Marquis though. Because Hardy can't resist improving things they've slightly redesigned the internal cam to give an increased range to the click-check.

The MWF V2 can be cast overhead, spey or shooting head style, and will enable you to achieve extra distance whichever method you choose. It comprises of a running line with a choice of 3 bellies and 3 tips, all of which are interchangeable. The bellies are floating, density compensated intermediate/sink1, and density compensated sink1/sink2. The tips come in intermediate, fast sink, and extra fast sink. By changing the bellies and tips you can cover the water from surface to bottom. You no longer need to buy a series of expensive lines and spools as this system will do it all!
